Funerals

Whenever someone has died, we turn to the Lord in prayer both to give thanks for their life, and to experience the Lord's consolation in our grief. The usual process would be for the family to contact the Funeral home, and they will be in touch with the Church in order to set up a date and time for the Funeral Mass.

The normal pattern for a funeral includes: ​
 
Vigil prayers (if requested)
The Funeral Mass (with the body)
Prayers as we place our loved one to rest (such as at the cemetery or mausoleum)
